Combining “fascia flossing”, myofascial release (MFR) work and classic yin poses using the framework of Chinese medicine theory creates a soothing class experience for the nervous system.

I teach a range of styles, including Yin, Vinyasa, Katonah, and Restorative yoga. I can also combine these styles to create a customized experience. Depending on your group’s experience level, the class can be adjusted to be beginner-friendly, open-level, or intermediate.

This practice is characterized by its cooling and slow-paced approach, focusing on long-held poses that can range from 1 to 10 minutes. Unlike other styles that target muscles, Yin Yoga aims to stretch and stimulate the connective tissues. The practice is informed by the principles of Chinese medicine theory.

Class duration can range from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on your needs, skill level, and specific requests.
