  • “Her approach is holistically about ensuring that everyone leaves the room with a pleasant experience and feels great before they dive back into their day. She also strives to ensure that folks focus on their own practice by getting physically close to students and whispering to them instructions on how they can do better. This helps keep other students breathing and focusing on their own practice. Her tenure at Swan’s Nest was a great one and I look forward to the day she returns. ”

  • "Sara Cecilia was very punctual and very kind since we met. I was a little nervous because I had never taken a Yoga class but she made sure that everything flowed very comfortably from the beginning being patient and understanding. During the class I experienced great harmony between body, mind and spirit, it was spectacular facing the sea. the experience was very restorative and complete. I will definitely return to another class. I recommend it. Thank you very much Sara!"

Yoga teacher meditation & sound therapy

Guided with expertise. Held with presence.

Bilingual instruction, gentle in approach, grounded in years of practice.

What drives Sara Cecilia is experience and curiosity. Over 13+ years as an E-RYT 500 teacher, that curiosity has taken her across Vinyasa, Yin, Katonah Yoga®, SUP Yoga, Therapeutic Sound, Mat Pilates, and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) trainings and lineages to name a few. This is not to collect certifications, but rather each one taught her something new about how bodies move and heal, including her own. She is ultimately a seeker, and in search of truth.

Years of experience, and just as many bodies, mobilities, and abilities practiced with along the way, Sara Cecilia teaches with empathy, in English, Spanish, or a mix of both.
