A veces, todo lo que quiero hacer es la pose de rana en una tabla de paddle rodeada por la jungla y aguas verde esmeralda. It’s truly a joy and privilege to travel with dear friends to places and beauty I’ve never even imagined. A beauty that felt like I was on another planet. I’ve never been on a yoga retreat just for the sake of it, just for the joy of it. Not on a retreat that didn’t involve a teacher training, or an austere silent meditation for days. As a yoga teacher who has taught at many retreats for several years, it was truly a gift to simply receive. I asked her what those funky sun salutations where all about and how I could learn more 😅💫 I ended up taking classes at The Studio when they were in Chelsea and later on Bowery, several trips to Bedford hills, NY and later online.
